tomlinson library renovation and dining addition

The Tomlinson Library Project is unusual in that it is the combination of a major academic Library with a large retail dining facility creating a symbiotic relationship between the two. The project includes a new learning commons, state-of-the-art technology support, research areas, student services, high density stacks, exhibit space, 24 hour study, in-library cafe, children’s spaces for students with children visiting, distance education program, and retail dining area.

The 69,876 GSF library is increased by 16,295 GSF and completely re-organized to meet current 21st Century demands. The Project is an example of how Libraries are being effectively partnered with other facilities creating more vibrant and multi-useful spaces.
